Description
Again this year I was behind this cover picture for Hypecon anime, game and cosplay convention's program leaflet, but I also got the chance to do the layout for the whole program leaflet, which was pretty cool but also veeery big project!
This year Hypecon did have a "secrets of the underwater" theme! Hypecon's other graphic designer @sazzerzer created this mermaid look for Rieku (the mascot of the Hypecon convention) and I drew my version of it for the program leaflet's cover picture!
This time I wanted to try colouring the whole picture digitally. Last year the background was made digitally and rest of the picture traditionally, but this time I wanted to challenge myself to colour everything digitally! Lineart is made traditionally in this picture, because I hate doing lineart digitally. Though I had a quite big problem with the lineart: my parents scanner made the lineart looks super glitchy and horrible for some reason, so I technically had to anyway draw all the lines again with computer which took ages l'''> Never again pls....
I have to say that I'm super proud of this drawing!! It came out so colourful and I learned also new techniques and...! Aaah sheesh it's super pretty ;;w;; My baby <3
